WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the item Level upgrade level by +3. A random additional substat is also increased with every upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader kit upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed forever and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the Best item upgrade but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools, and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them from NPCs of item upgraders in a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor with the help of button, which displays an item's preview at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and the current item level, with weapons costing more than gloves or bracers, for instance. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with some upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used. After an Best item upgrader has been upgraded to a certain amount and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lower amount of both currency types.

Many locations have upgraders for their items in addition to the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon as well as the possibility of obtaining a new recipe. The discount for upgrades increases depending on the amount of items that are being upgraded. It can also be boosted by having players complete specific achievements or complete quests.

Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a variety of choices. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1 and are available in four ranks.

First, you should know that the crests can only be purchased for gear with a certain rank. Each rank has a different upgrade path. The simplest and most straightforward upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complex requires as many as 20 crests, based on the type of equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through working through content at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities, or by taking on dungeons and raids of any difficulty to earn lower-level gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons with heroic difficulty for endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, but it does bring some modifications to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another notable change is that crests only have one use and it's crucial to use them properly. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear that you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to take advantage of the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are filled with top-quality gear.
