3 Wheel Buggies

3 wheel buggies offer superb maneuverability with a stylish and streamlined frame. A lot of them have a fabric sling with a cosy lay flat bed that is perfect for weight distribution and are ideal starting at birth.

The most reliable 3 wheel buggy for tackling rough terrain

Tyres

Safety

Four wheels make a buggy more stable and less likely to tip over and is easier to maneuver. It can also be more secure for your baby since their weight is distributed more evenly over the frame of the pushchair.

A four-wheeler is also likely to have a lower center of gravity, making it more easy to roll over curbs and up the stairs. If you're looking to go for a run with your baby then a four-wheeler is better suited as it has a suspension system that allows the front wheel to move independently of the back wheel to allow you to tackle rough terrains and bumpy roads - just bear in mind not all buggies with 4 wheels are suitable for running (most are NOT, such as the Phil and Teds). Mountain Buggies are the exception, as they have a suspension system specifically designed for them that's been tested by an independent expert across all types of terrain.
